Day 1 – Arrival
Let’s meet your awesome guide and get acquainted with your new surroundings.

Day 2 – Dodoni history & foods
Our first stop is the village of Dodoni where we visit the ancient theater where sports matches were held every four years in honor of the God Zeus. Today, you will also get your first lesson in traditional Greek cooking.

Day 3 – Central Zagori views & Wines
The national park of the Central Zagori area will treat you to it’s many beautiful views, traditional villages and stone bridges scattered across the landscape. We will also visit one of the many small local wineries so that you can get a taste of real Greek wine.

Day 4 –  Relaxing at the beach
Well….that depends lol… when available, we will not only enjoy the beach, but also help out to clean it so we can take out some trash where it doesn’t belong.

Day 5 – Breaking bread with friends
Today you will learn how to cook more traditional Greek dishes and we will enjoy them with some local people. They will be mostly elderly people as we will be cooking in one of the many small villages.

Day 6 – Say cheese in the mountains
Fetaaaaa time! We love feta cheese and the prospect of being able to see how it’s made and taste a local type of feta from a small feta cheese farm that is not available anywhere else in the world, is enough for us to start packing our bags! Let alone visiting the famous Kipinas monastery after.

Day 7 – Legends at the beach
History comes with many sad legends and today you will learn about the monument of Zalongo. Let’s take a moment to reflect on the events that happened here in 1803 and the universal message of sacrifice and freedom.

Day 8 – Serene views & Good foods
Another chance to show off your Greek chef skills for some new local friends. But we’re not making it too easy for you, so the menu will be different lol. Also on the menu of the day is a visit to an amazing monastery at the top of a cliff.

Well, today speaks for itself really. Why wouldn’t we go to a gorge that belongs to the top 20 destinations in Europe and is in the Guiness Book of Records?!
